Hanil Co., Ltd. was founded in 1982 through the joint venture of Eidaikagaku Co., Ltd. Making the contract for introducing the manufacturing technology for pigments for chinaware with Eidaikagaku, Hanil produces and supplies the pigments for chinaware tiles and sanitary porcelains (turquoise blue, praseodium yellow, vanadium yellow, coral pink, maroon), the pigments for coloring unpolished tiles which are mixed with tile earth (manganese pink, right green, sky blue, titanium yellow), and the glazes that polish chinaware tiles. At present, Hanil has the manufacturing technology for 100 kinds of mineral pigments and glazes. The Coating Business Division of Hanil researches, develops, produces, and sells the organic pigments that are used for paints, plastics, inks, and rubbers. Besides, it is in charge of the trade-related services including the import of raw materials and offers. In addition, the Research Institute of Hanil is giving an impetus to the development of nontoxic organic/inorganic/functional pigments to substitute the import and to expand the market for special pigments, through which Hanil will do its best to meet with customers’ expectations. |
